Memorable Visit

Disclaimer: This may sound like a post for "THE seniors" blog.

Wooh, today I had one of the most memorable visits so far in history! T.H.E. (stands for "Touching Hearts of Elderly") seniors've 3 new elderly to visit this time round and as promised, we were to clean up Mr T's (to protect his identity) house. Lao lao and I were the earlier few and we recced his flat before deciding on the equipment and amount of manpower needed. Ermm we were rather shocked at the state of his home- the floor was covered with stubborn grim- and I found the stench in his house rather nauseating, sorry to say. Then we headed down to NTUC to get the necessary stuff like gloves, a mop, dustpan, cloths, detergent and other cleaning materials and met up with the rest.

Hmm Lao lao was in charge of the living room, DR the toilet, Marg the kitchen and me the windows cum basin. Ermm.. we scrubbed, rubbed, dug, cleaned, wiped and did all we could, with all our might and finally, we managed to remove most of the stubborn stains except for some left on the toilet bowl and the wall. Which reminds me that we've to get the following stuff on the next visit: Dishwashing liquid and sponges, scrub with thick bristles, extremely strong stain removal. Besides, we've to change his bedsheet and clean his travel case. (Btw his bed has bed bugs and I almost brought one home ahaha, luckily I saw it before I could =P) Hmm but these aside, I think 'cause of his poor eyesight, he can't see the stains and thus believes that his floor ain't a least bit dirty. He also wears his slippers at home, really hope that he'ld heed our advice and get a new clean pair which he can wear at home instead. Haha so much for today and we were shagged but happy I guess. =)

Anyway, after visit, I was supposed to study at the library. Unfortunately, all the seats at the cafe were taken up, even those on the other levels were occupied. Humph and sensing that it was going to rain heavily soon, I decided to head back home. And so here I am, blogging away... again.. Sigh. I hope I won't succumb to temptation again, please please sleepy bug, don't bite me!!!
